What would life be like if we didn’t compare ourselves to others?
Feeling into this question, imagining what it would be like, these are the words that flow for me …
We wouldn’t doubt ourselves.
We’d own our unique qualities and share them wholeheartedly.
We wouldn’t put ourselves down or say things like “no I can’t do that, I’m not good enough or qualified enough …”
Our creativity would flow openly and organically. Our voice would flow with clarity and strength.
We’d be deeply connected to our own intuitive wisdom and joy.
We would honour ourselves and each other, lifting each other up when needed.
We would feel empowered and know that who we are right now is perfect, and that we are always growing and learning each and every day.
I think it’s important to remember that when we compare ourselves to others, we lose sight of who we truly are.
We are all on our own unique journey. Different goals. Different experiences. Different body shapes and sizes. Different paths. Different timelines. Different lives.
When we honour ourselves and each other we create an environment that allows us all to thrive individually and in community.
