Do you get stuck in drama land?
Personally, my mind used to spend A LOT of time in drama land. Over the course of my Self-Love healing journey, I’ve trained myself to stop walking through the door. Sometimes, it works. And sometimes, I find myself in there creating some amazingly false stories that go against everything I love and desire.
Thankfully, I am now more aware and notice when I’m in drama land. From the space of Self-Awareness, I’m able to pull myself out and consciously choose Love.
Here’s a little practice I use to not only create change in the moment, but to also help break the “drama land” habit.
1. When your mind is stuck in drama land, creating stories filled with negativity, choose to consciously stop the thoughts.
2. Take a deep breath into your Body.
3. Take another slow deep breath.
4. Then another.
5. Let your breath create space for you to choose LOVE.
6. Choose to transform all those negative false stories into Love.
7. Choose to think from Love.
8. Choose to give yourself Love.
9. Choose to express Love in all you do.
10. Choose to create a beautiful love-filled story that is aligned with your Soul-Truth.
Remember, changing the drama land story habits can be difficult, but it can be done.
With practice, persistence, and lots of love and compassion for yourself, you can create empowered change from the inside out. I know this to be true because I am walking talking proof.
