How to create a meditation space and ritual
It doesn’t take much to set up a meditation space. Once you make the decision, it becomes an intuitive process.🙏
🌈Here are some tips I use for my space and ritual.☀️
✨Choose a space that feels right. It can be a space in your bedroom. A seat in your lounge. A sunny corner on your deck. Or maybe a spare room you can claim (definitely claim it!)
🌿Whatever space you choose set the intention it’s your sacred space.
🌈Feel into what you’d like in your space. It can be anything. Trust your intuition.
Some suggestions are:
Candles. Photos. Feathers. Artwork. Crystals. Singing bowls. Cushions. Flowers. Shells. Smudge stick. Books. Journal. Blanket. Mala beads. Yoga mat.
🌻Each time you use the space, create a ritual to set the energy. Light a candle. Call in your Guides and Angels. Burn some sage. Sing your singing bowl. Chant 3 OMs (or more). Play some relaxing music.
Whatever feels TRUTH for you.
☀️Then let your meditation practice begin. Whatever it needs to be.
Dance. Stretching. Journaling. Drawing. Chanting. Sound healing. Prayer. Affirmation. Pranayama. Guided meditation. Grounding.
Stillness.
Allow your practice to end with stillness. Deeply connected into your Body and Self.
🌿When you feel complete, end with Gratitude ritual. Thanking you, your Body and Spiritual support Crew. Send love into your day.
Then maybe … Ding your singing bowl. Chant 3 OMs. Put out your candles. Or whatever feels Truth.
🌻Then step into the next moment feeling connected, grounded and empowered.
⏰Your meditation ritual can be any length of time. Even 2 minutes of deep breathing will support you.
Intend to connect each day.
💰Cost of setting the space is up to you. It doesn’t have to cost any money. Use what you have. Listen to your intuition. The perfect items will find you.
Hope these tips have inspired you to start creating your meditation space and ritual.
With so much love and peace
